John Marion Fabrizio

John M Fabrizio 85 of Coppell Texas, passed away March 1, 2024. He was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania on January 24, 1939 to Ernest and Clara Fabrizio. He was a devoted son and very close to his parents. John graduated with an associate’s degree in Engineering and utilized this to build cars with his father, even driving one on his college commute.

John went on to use his mechanical knowledge to build a career with Mor Flo Industries, a water heater company. The company changed hands several times, John was always taken along by the new management. He held many Patents throughout his career for water heater improvement and design some that are utilized in most water heaters today. He built a vast career in the industry traveling and servicing the continental United States, Alaska, and Canada.

Along the way John worked for Irr Supply Center a plumbing and electrical supply company, owned a pizza shop called Pizza Kings, sold canes, bird houses, wine bottle wind chimes and more handmade crafts. He had a handyman business and taught Drivers Education well into his 80’s.

John enjoyed spending time with his family, helping his daughter Judy and son-in-law Wink with various projects at their home in North Carolina. He loved watching his son-in-law Tom coach his High School Golf Team and going thrift shopping with his stepdaughter Sherry He enjoyed watching the Cowboys play on Sundays at their house and trying different restaurants with his step-son Steve. Most of all he loved to spend time with his dog, Buster.

He was an active member of the Valley Ranch Baptist Church where he was a greeter for many years. He was a member of a loving Grow Group and enjoyed volunteering in many different ways with his church family.

John is preceded in death by his wife Eleanor Fabrizio. He loved to travel with Eleanor, do crafts and visit with family and friends. He is also preceded in death by his parents and his sons Mark John Fabrizio and Daniel Anthony Fabrizio.

He will be dearly missed by his daughters Judy (Wink) Mabe and Mary Jo (Rick) Matteson, stepdaughter Sherry (Tom) Himert, stepson Steven Luckman his new Autumn Oaks neighbors, his Church Family and his many other friends. He is also survived by 7 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren. It is also sad to realize we will no longer be getting a virtual hug of the warm fuzzy.
