Juanita was born in Stanton, Texas on October 4, 1926 to John and Cora Lee Bowser. She was the youngest of 6 children.
Juanita married James Daniel Peters on March 8, 1944 and they were married 41 years before his passing on August 31, 1985. They were blessed with two daughters, Louise Fox and Sue Johnson, three grandchildren, Matthew Wiegel, Kathryn Weatherford and Michael Johnson and two great-grandchildren, Tatum Weatherford and Phoenix Johnson.
Juanita was an active member of The First Baptist Church of Southlake until moving to Assisted Living in Denton. She loved playing 42 and card games. Her favorite hobby was crocheting and knitting and each of her children and grandchildren have an afghan she made specifically for each one.
