Margaret Ann Monzani

Margaret Ann Monzani, of Coppell, Texas, died on October 16, 2025. Her death comes 10 months after being diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. She died peacefully with her husband, Dan, present and clasping her rosary. Her 62 years of love, kindness, and generosity were a gift to all; and she will remain forever in our hearts.

Margaret was born in Chicago, Illinois, on January 25, 1963, to John McNally and Patricia Ann McNally, nee Miller. She was united in marriage to Daniel N. Monzani on July 10, 1992, and settled in Coppell, Texas where they worked to build a life together, creating a lasting legacy of love, faith, and community.

With her earliest ambition of becoming a teacher, she ultimately found herself with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Loyola University Chicago (1981-1985) and a Master's degree in Accounting from Dominican University. Margaret also earned her CPA and Certified Internal Auditor certifications. She had extensive experience in contract management and financial analysis and served as a Senior Analyst in Contract Management at TForce Logistics from February 2007 until her death.

Margaret was a devout Catholic and a dedicated parishioner of the St. Ann Catholic Parish in Coppell, Texas. She deeply believed in the power of prayer and prayed weekly for local priests as a member of the Seven Sisters Apostolate. She found great joy singing in the church choir, her favorite songs including “Bread of Angels” and “Miracle of Grace” by Curtis Stephan. But it was the Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) ministry that captured her heart. Intended as a parish spiritual renewal process to unite parish members in Christ, change lives, and build lasting relationships, her life was forever enriched when she first joined the ministry in 2017.

For many women, Margaret’s participation and friendship led to a deepening of both the old and new Catholic faith God had brought them to. Her example of complete trust in Jesus when she felt most defeated continues to leave those who knew her best in awe. She consistently demonstrated bringing spiritual and emotional pain to the foot of His cross. But also, she taught others how to receive His grace as He answered prayers. Her persistent faith led many to pray for her great-nephew, Donovan, who is now in remission from his own battle with childhood leukemia. Until her dying day, she was a prayer warrior.

In her final days, she was surrounded by loving family, friends, and colleagues. With a quiet conscience, her death was one of grace and with a profound sense of peace. Fully-known and fully-loved, our hearts take comfort that she is in the company of God and beloved Saints.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Daniel Monzani, and siblings Mary Lehnann, Kevin McNally, Jim McNally, and Tommy McNally. Margaret was preceded in death by her grandparents, William Miller and Marcella Miller, parents, John McNally and Patricia Ann McNally, nee Miller, and her brother, Rich McNally.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at St. Ann Catholic Parish, Coppell, Texas beginning at 2 p.m.

A graveside service and reception will immediately follow at the Rolling Oaks Cemetery, 400 Freeport Pkwy, Coppell, Texas 75019.

A visitation will be held at Rolling Oaks Funeral Home, 400 Freeport Pkwy, Coppell, Texas 75019

on Monday, October 27, 2025 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet begin at 7 p.m.
