Aaron Shanon Crites

Aaron was the son of a soldier and spent his youth with his family who lived in multiple U.S. and German Army bases until his family finally settled in Copperas Cove, TX. He was a mischievous boy who had a knack for finding adventures, and sometimes trouble. He enjoyed music and played percussion in the CCHS Band. He graduated from Copperas Cove High School in 2001. He later earned an Associate of Science degree in Pharmacology from the University of Phoenix. He worked in the automobile industry and as a contract laborer until he started a career at Pactiv Evergreen in 2023.

He enjoyed playing competitive games with family, bow fishing, video games, collecting sports memorabilia and having lively discussions; he had a wealth of knowledge and could talk about anything.

Aaron is survived by: two amazing children, Hailey Crites and Brayden Crites of Texas; his parents, Richard and Dana Crites of Texas; sister, Jennifer Pomeroy (Brian) of Texas; Uncle and aunt, Richard and Sheila of Texas; aunt, Anna Painter of Virginia; and numerous cousins and friends.

Aaron will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Private services will be held.
