Antonio Torres Jr.

Mr. Torres served his country as a Specialist in communications for the U.S. Army and was a very proud Korean War Veteran. He enjoyed telling his children and grandchildren of the days in Korea and the Army as well as showing them how important History is. After his years in service, Antonio joined the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Copperas Cove, TX and was apart of the Korean War Veterans Association of Killeen, TX

Antonio was a simple man. He was full of life and loved to make people laugh. He was also very kind and generous and would give you the shirt off his back. Antonio was married to the love of his life, Esther Rodriguez Torres, whom he raised four children; Linda, Doris, Tony, and Joe. He was an amazing father and instilled great family values in his children.

Antonio is preceded in death by his wife, Esther and daughters, Doris and Linda.

He is survived by his sons, Antonio R. Torres III and Joe Torres; grand children Edward Antonio, Linda Lou, Joey Antonio, Bennie Antonio, Aja Celeste, Crystal Lynn, Justin Damian, Tyler Rose, Joseph Raymond, Nathan Timothy, Brittney Marie, and Brandon Michael along with numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday August 25, 2020 beginning at 6pm with a Rosary stating at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday August 26, 2020 at Holy Family Catholic Church at 10am and will be followed by a Committal Service at Killeen Memorial Park at 12:30pm.
