Crystal Jean Thorpe

Born on December 7, 1946, in Sacramento, California, she was the daughter of Marion Tomblinson and Veda Casella. She was also lovingly raised by her stepfather, Charles Casella.

She shared a loving marriage of 56 years with her late husband, Kenneth Thorpe. Together, they found joy in traveling and creating cherished memories.

Crystal devoted over four decades to Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), retiring in 2004. Her long and dedicated career was a testament to her perseverance and commitment.

Following retirement, Crystal and her husband relocated to Copperas Cove, Texas, where they enjoyed their later years together.

Crystal appreciated life’s simple pleasures. Watching her favorite shows and spending time with her family brought her great happiness.

She is survived by her daughters, Stacy Pinion (Mike) and Tracy Thorpe; and grandsons, Devin Allen and Justin Allen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Thorpe; her mother, Vedah Casella; her stepfather, Charles Casella; her father, Marion Tomblinson; her sister, Ramona Saunders; and her beloved dog, Spunky.

Crystal’s warmth and generous spirit touched the lives of those around her. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
