Danny Harbert

Services for Danny Harbert , 80, of Copperas Cove will be 12:00pm Friday March 21, 2014 at Grace United Methodist Church in Copperas Cove. Burial will follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen at 2:00pm. He was born March 21, 1933 in Aubrey, Texas to Oliver Richard and Vena Margaret Harbert. A Korean War Veteran he retired as a SGT First Class after twenty –one year of service in the Army and retired again after eighteen years as a long haul trucker.

Danny was member of the United Methodist Men, Grace United Methodist Church. DAV, AARP, American Legion, VFW, Lifetime member of U.M.M, and was a Sunday School Superintendent.

He is survived by his wife, Jane, daughters, Brenda Craig and husband Jack of Porter, TX, Pamela, Ekizian of Copperas Cove, and Karen McCall and husband Randy of Crowley, TX, son, Bryan Harbert and wife Sheri of Arlington, TX granddaughters, Heather Chaney, Jessica Craig both of Porter, TX, Stefanie Ekizian of Fresno, CA, Erin Gunn and husband Brady, and Monica Mc Call and fiancé Jeff Jackson both of North Richland Hills, TX, and Katelyn Harbert of Arlington, TX, grandsons, Justin Craig of Porter, TX, Jared Ekizian and wife Stephanie of Kingsburg, CA, Ryan Ekizian and wife Nicole of Fresno, CA, Drew Ekizian and wife Stacy of Clovis, CA Michael McCall of Crowley, TX, and Tanner Harbert of Arlington, TX, great- granddaughters, Jaden Chaney of Porter, TX, Isabella Ekizian of Kingsburg, CA, and Madelyn Ekizian of Kingsbury, CA, great-grand sons Ronald Chaney of Porter, TX, and Gavin Ekizian of Kingsburg CA, and Micah Ekizian of Fresno, CA

The family will receive visitor from 6-8pm Thursday March 20, 2014 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove.
