Doris Elise Webster

Doris Elise Webster, 92 years of age born on April 11, 1934 in Stugart Germany to Ernst and Lina Kurz. Passed away on May 4, 2026, in Copperas Cove TX. Doris left to join with the angels in Heaven.

Doris spent most of her life dedicated to supporting her family as she shared with raising 3 wonderful children with her husband Bill. She had a passion in cooking some superb German food which always brought a smile to others faces. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and creating gifts for others while pouring her soul and love into each piece of craft. But most of all being a dedicated spouse of an Army Veteran during 22 years of service and maintaining the household during Bill's deployments abroad.

Doris loved her neighbors and friends and was never short on words. She never knew a stranger as she kindled friendship with a warm smile and kind words. Doris always treasured time with family especially during the holidays which included decorating, cooking meals and baking a variety of desserts. Gardening was one of her life long passions ensuring that her yard was always manicured to perfection.

Doris is predeceased by her parents: Ernst and Lina Webster, William L. Webster Sr (husband), David Allen (son), Lena Dodrill (daughter).

Survived by brothers Heinz and Wendall residing in Germany, William L. Webster Jr (son), Trisha Webster (daughter-in-law), Marsha Webster (granddaughter), Lindsey Webster (great granddaughter) residing in Killeen TX. Robert E. Webster (son), Bethany Webster (daughter-in-law), Kyle Webster (grandson) residing in Copperas Cove Tx, Kaylee Webster (granddaughter) residing in Belton Tx. Chris Dodrill (son-in-law) residing in Las Vegas NV, Kathryn Dodrill (granddaughter), and grandsons Seth Dodrill and Elijah Dodrill residing in Albuquerque NM.

A special thanks to the staff and caregivers of Copperas Cove Nursing and Rehab Facility as well as members of Compassus Hospice. She will be sorely missed by all as she loved her family and friends.

A Visitation will be held at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove on Friday May 15th from 6pm to 8pm. A Funeral Service will begin at 1pm on Saturday May 16th at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home. Doris will be inurned at Killeen City Cemetery at a date to be determined.
