He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward R. Price Sr. and Louise S. Price, his brother, Charles Price, and his grandson, Grant A. Phillips.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Janelle M. Price, his two children, Edward R. Price Ill, Suzy Price Phillips and husband Bill, and his four grandchildren Courtney Phillips Roussel and her husband Zach, Randy Price, Robert Price, and Cole Phillips and his wife Baileigh.
After graduating from Northwestern University in Louisiana, Ed worked for many years in the telecom industry, eventually retiring from Nortel, Networks. One of his favorite stories to tell was about his time assisting with an FBI investigation, a story he would tell over and over again. He also taught Sunday school and served as an Elder for many years, but his greatest accomplishments were being a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.
Those who knew Ed will remember him for his generosity, sense of humor, and adventurous spirit. Не loved to play golf and roughhouse with his grandkids by wrestling on the floor, usually resulting in a giggle-filled dog-pile.
He will be dearly missed, but we take great comfort in knowing that he is rejoicing in the presence of the Father, and we find comfort in some of his last words: "I love you" and "I'm ready to go home."
His Celebration of Life will be held at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove, Texas on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 2:00pm.
