Elizabeth “Betty” Robin Davis passed away on May 20, 2026. Born on September 4, 1960, in Wheeling, West Virginia, Betty was known for her warmth, generosity, and the undeniably loving spirit she brought into this world.
Betty strongly believed in her family, her career, her faith, and her community and was passionately active in each of them. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend. Betty married the love of her life, Mike Davis, on July 10, 1982. It was Betty’s beautiful smile from across the classroom that caught Mike’s eye. He knew she was special instantly. He knew he loved her and he would love her forever. That promise held true throughout their wonderful 43 years of marriage.
Betty and Mike were blessed with two children, Kristen and Michael. As a wife and mother, she was kind, loving, and full of joy. She loved deeply, and she was someone whose love was truly unconditional. Her greatest joy and accomplishments were family. She poured her heart into creating a warm and loving home. She was an unwavering supporter for her children and never lacked in encouragement. She loved spending time with family. Betty shared a strong bond with her two sisters and with her parents.
Betty was one of those who truly loved her job at Frost Bank as Vice President of Community Development in Austin, Texas, where she specialized in community development, financial literacy, and small business support. She worked with local nonprofits to lead classes and seminars. She frequently volunteered with Junior Achievement in Austin, teaching financial fundamentals to local students. She believed in people, and she helped them wholeheartedly, helping them design a path for success. Betty did everything with honesty and integrity. Her values shined as a beacon, for not only herself, but for those around her.
At home, a favorite pastime for Betty was a peaceful day snuggled with a good book. She loved to read and shared that same love with her mother and her daughter. They frequently would pass books around and enjoy the same stories. Some of the most special times for Betty was exploring antique stores with her daughter, Kristen. Collecting English teapots made her smile.
To say that Betty’s family and friends will miss her is an understatement. It is deeply felt. Her memory will continue to live on and inspire strength, resilience, and generosity in those whose lives she touched.
