After retiring from the Army, he owned and operated the Wood Works in Copperas Cove.
He is survived by his wife Elaine Peterson, 3 sonds, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, Sept 2, 2014 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Mounted Warriors Museum of Ft Hood.
