Gerda married Dennis William Leon on February 3, 1961 in Postbauer/Heng Germany where he was stationed at the time with the U.S Army. She retired from Texas Instruments. Gerda and Dennis enjoyed traveling around the United States in their motor home together.
Gerda is preceded in death by her husband Dennis William Leon SR., her parents Michael and Maria Fleischmann, her brother Martin Fleischman and Grandchildren Julia and Stephen.
She leaves behind 2 sisters; Hildegard Korner in Germany and Heidi KowaIke in Wisconsin, 4 children; Maria and her husband Mike L. Thomas, Barbara Leon, Dennis and his wife Denise Leon and Michael and his wife Becky Leon to include Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
