

Kelly Lee Jackson, born on July 16, 1963, in Pierce County, WA, passed away on January 21, 2025, in Copperas Cove, TX. She was a devoted mother to her three beautiful daughters, Kasey Lee Turnbo, Dani Jo Turnbo, and Tori Lynn Turnbo, and a loving grandmother to her nine grandchildren: Braylon Turnbo-Rhymes, Jaxon Rhymes, Lillian Gray, Sovelet Williams, Avery Henderson, Eily Henderson, Bellarae Henderson, Amiyah Turnbo, and Zayden Turnbo.
Kelly was known for her infectious spirit and love for life. She cherished moments spent traveling with her family and organized countless family vacations and cruises, believing that time together was life’s greatest treasure. Her home was always filled with laughter, dance parties, and the smell of delicious meals she prepared for family gatherings, especially for birthdays and holidays.
Kelly was the middle child of her family, leaving a lasting impact on her older brother Paul Williams and younger sister Terri Herrin. Lola Sue Graves was their mother who Kelly gracefully cared for during her battle with dementia, showcasing her deep sense of love and responsibility.
Kelly’s belief in God and the power of prayer was unwavering; her faith guided her through life’s challenges. She was a beacon of hope and love, embodying what it meant to be a mother, friend, and sister. Known for her vibrant personality, she could light up any room with her sweet smile and zest for life. Her favorite thing to do was spending time with her family, creating as many memories as possible.
Kelly loved to dance, and her most cherished moments often included spontaneous dance parties with her daughters. Her favorite song, “I’m Too Sexy” by Right Said Fred, was a sure invitation to join in the fun.
Kelly will be remembered for her generosity, her love for family, and her ability to bring people together. She is who taught what the true meaning of family is. We will cherish what she have instilled and will pass along her visions and her dreams as they are the children of her soul, the blueprints of her ultimate achievements. She truly was the glue that held her family together, and her legacy of love and unity will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
A Celebration of Life will be held on February 22, 2025 starting at 3:00 PM in the Lifeway Fellowship Church located at 4001 E Elm's Road in Killeen, Texas 76542.
