On December 9th, 1943, a beautiful soul named Monika McMullen was born in Saarbrücken, West Germany. Her life journey led her to the United States, where she built a loving family with her husband, and together they retired in the warm embrace of Kempner, Texas. On March 23rd, 2023, Monika gently closed her eyes and departed this world, leaving a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Monika was reunited with her beloved husband, Lloyd A. McMullen, her son William E. McMullen II, her dear mother and step-grandfather Hildegard and Edward Carter, and her cherished nephew Dean Ragan Jr. in the heavens above.
Her spirit continues to live on through her three surviving children, Virginia Ragan, Heather Wells, and Eddie McMullen. Monika's love and guidance have touched the lives of her seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Monika's passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the lives of those who knew her, including her dear poodle Max, who was her constant companion. Monika's memory will remain etched in our hearts, her laughter echoing in our ears, and her love enveloping us as we continue to celebrate the life she so gracefully lived.
A visitation for Monika will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 211 W Avenue B, Copperas Cove, Texas. Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, March 29th in the Kempner City Cemetery, Kempner, Texas.
