Richard P Zitkus

He married Cloty, the love of his life of 42 years, who survives him. Richard is also survived by 2 sons, 3 daughters, their spouses, 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way, 3 brothers, loving in-laws, nieces and nephews and a best friend. Richard has reunited in Heaven with his parents, a newborn son, and his sister.

Richard was a simple, quiet man yet a strong hard worker. He served 27 years in the Army and National Guard combined, earned numerous Army medals and bronze stars and continued his career as an Army contractor for over a decade. He enjoyed relaxing at home with his wife and dogs, loved playing with his grandchildren and always helped make wonderful memories at family gatherings. He was very proud of his family and friends as we are of him.

Visitation will be held at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove on Wednesday July 13, 2022 from 6-8PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday July 14,2022 at 11AM at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home.
