The first time I meet Sharon was on your honeymoon and I wondered why any one would want to go visit relatives on their honeymoon.
In God's word it tells us sometimes when God takes his own it is to save them from what lies ahead.  We know how Sharon suffer and we prayed ofter.  We do know what God was saving Sharon from.  
Thank you Dick for making her a part of our lives.  We truly enjoyed Sharon.  Always loving and accepting.

My mom (Sharon Marie Inman Mortenson) was one of sixteen children. She had a hard, but fun life. She met and married my dad (Richard Mortenson)who was the best husband a woman could ever wish for. My mom put up a long hard battle with her illness. My mom was a loving soul. She took in every step child and treated them as her own. She always made sure that they had Christmas and birthday cards. She never forgot them not even this Christmas when her health was declining. I wonder if they know how blessed they were to share her with my sister and I. I remember the day the day my  mom's mom died. I came home from school to find my mom crying for the first time in my life. I remember thinking I don't ever want my mom to die. I was not an easy baby or any easier as I grew up , but she always forgave me and stood by me. Erica Jong said, "My mother wanted me to be her wings, to fly as she never quite had the courage to do." I know that these last few years I have done that , and she was very proud of me. Mom please hug our grandparents and tell them I wish I would of had more time with them. Please be sure to keep Chief and Rodger with you until I join you all! Lord, if roses grow in Heaven please pick a bunch for me, and give them to my mom and tell her they are from me. Mom I rejoice in the fact that you are not suffering. Remember that I wil always love you and smile because I know we will one day be together again. Until we meet again I love you mom.

I have never met Aunt Sharon as my sister, Patty Jager is always calling her.  She says she was such a sweet and loving person and I really wish I had met her.  I know she must be in heaven for such a sweet , loving person can only be with God.  Beverly Hooker

My first memory of Aunt Sharon was when Doug, Angela and I went to Mesa for our first family Christmas. We had a dog (Boo-Boo) in tow, and I was told that she wasn't a real dog-lover. We had plans to stop over in El Paso en route. But she overlooked the dog and made a great first impression on me! She never complained when we drug our pets into her home. She just smiled and loved us anyway. She never failed to remember our birthdays or anniversaries. She was a sweetheart and I will miss her.  But I know that our Lord and Savior is with her always.
