Stella was many things in her life. She was an outstanding seamstress and took great pride in her work; sewing costumes and outfits. Stella enjoyed cooking too, testing different recipes and always finding the perfect mixes. Above being a seamstress and a cook, she was loving wife and mother.
Stella married the love of her life, Tom, on May 27, 1983. Although they were married 37 years, the two shared 62 years together in which they raised two children, Norma and Richard, along with numerous grandchildren.
Stella is survived by her husband, Tom Salinas; daughter Norma Shifflett (David); son Richard Salinas (Nancy); and ex daughter-in-law Isabelle Frazier; granddaughter Rosie Palacios (Frank), grandson Richie Salinas, grandson Thomas Shifflett, granddaughter Steffanie Pundt, great grandchild Chloe' Cavness, great grandchild Damon Cavness, great grandchild Mckenzie Shifflett, great grandchild Issac Palacios, great grandchild Aubrey Palacios, great grandchild Teagan Shifflett, great grandchild Elayna Pundt and great grandchild Gavin Pundt.
A visitation for Stella will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 211 W Avenue B, Copperas Cove, Texas. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 12:00 PM, 211 W Avenue B, Copperas Cove, Texas. A burial will occur Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 State Highway 195, Killeen, Texas.
