

Sunya LaBelle Campbell Johnson, age 40, earned her wings at her home in Killeen, TX on Thursday 20 July 2017. She was born in Houston, TX to the late Louis Sr. and Marlean Campbell on December 20, 1976 and was the youngest of seven children.
She was a 1996 graduate of Killeen High School. She served her country in the US Army from 1998 to 2002. She worked as a cook at Carl R. Darnall Army Community Hospital, brightening everyone’s day with her beautiful smile and gentle spirit.
Sunya was an endearing woman who loved all, unconditionally. She was always willing to have a little fun, make a joke, encourage and support, lend a helping hand and she had a laugh that could brighten the stormiest of days.
She was a simple woman and gentle soul who took pleasure in the simple things of life and spending time with family. She was an Angel here on Earth, putting others first, watching out for family and friends and leaving an impact on everyone’s life that she came in contact with.
Sunya’s children (Michael Jr. and Sy’rhea) were the pride and joy of her life. The legacy of Sunya LaBelle Campbell Johnson’s kind spirit, passion and love of life will live on through them.
Sunya is now reunited with her infant children, both parents, oldest brother Louis Jr.and sister Sedonia.
She leaves to cherish her memories; Children: JaQuan T. Tills, Michael Jr. and Sy’rhea Marlean; Love of Her Life: DeAntoney Terrell; Ex-husband: Michael T. Johnson, Sr. (Tameicha); Brothers: William Campbell, Sr (Etta) and John Jackson, Sr.; Sisters: Sylvania Redmon (Elmer), Evelyn Johnson, Selestine Coleman (Curtis Hines), Felecia Williams-Jackson, Toshiro White and Sylina L. McDowell (Michael); Ex-sister in law: Connie Campbell; 26 nieces and nephews, 50 great-nieces and nephews and 1 great-great- niece.
Also, close friends: Alcenuia Bullard (Candi), Shelena Gray, Rebecca Hazel, Jeanene Jackson; Uncle: Cubberson Campbell (Regina); Aunts: Luvenia Woodley (Sammie Sr.), Georgia Lofton, and Frankie Hudson; and a host of cousins, co-workers and friends.
