He was born in Rochester, New York on February 3, 1956 to Mr. & Mrs. William and Irene Gardner.
William decided to join the U.S. Army in 1974, from where he Retired as a Master Sergeant over 20 years later.
In 1976, he married Mrs. Barbara Gardner (nee Glover) his beloved wife of more than 43 years.
He is survived by his son: William E Gardner III and his 2 grandchildren: William E IV and Liliana Marie Gardner and extended family: Sandi Maddox (Leslie Mansur), Brother: John (Marge) Gardner, Sister: Catherin (Jim Rupert), Brother in law: Leslie Manuel Glover (Elena), Nephews: John and David Gardner, Jim and Chris Rupert, Leslie M. Glover II.
