

A Celebration of Life Service for Ami Killingsworth Butler, 56, is set for 2pm Friday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Whitten officiating. Burial will follow in the Indian Creek Cemetery. A Family and Friends Gathering will be Friday from 12:00 to service time.
Amy died July 22, 2025 at her residence. She was born June 15, 1969 in Corinth, MS to Clifford and Mildred Carper Killingsworth. She worked Marvin Dabbs and later for Jimmy Gray hanging insulation. She enjoyed floating down the Buffalo River, riding 4-wheelers, listening to country music, watching Bellevue Baptist Church on the TV, and spending time with her family, especially her beloved dog, Burford.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Sam and Marie Carper; maternal grandparents, Herman and Lucy Killingsworth; nephew, Justin Hillis; uncles, Ronnie Carper and Roger Carper; and father of her children, Ricky Butler.
She is survived by her son, Curtis Butler; daughter, Rachel Butler; parents, Clifford and Mildred Killingsworth; sister, Tina Killingsworth (Shane Hillis); nephew, Ethan Hillis; boyfriend, William Jernigan; aunts, Brenda Ivey and Shirley Carper; and a host of other family and friends.
