Audry "Moon" Mullins

Celebration of Life for Audry C. "Moon" Mullins is set for 11 am. Thursday at West Baptist Church with Bro. Seth Kirkland and Bro. Jacky Ward officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Corinth National Cemetery.

Mr. Mullins died Monday, June 13, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN.

He was born July 20, 1933 in Chewalla, TN to the late Leeton and Jessie Mullins. Moon was a graduate of Ramer High School, served in the US Navy, and was owner of Mullins Barber Shop in downtown Corinth. He was a barber for 60 years. Moon was a member of West Corinth Baptist Church, having taught the Senior Men's Class. He enjoyed fishing, bird hunting and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his daughter, Sherry (Rod) Oakman; grandchildren, Spencer Oakman and Jeremy (Cherlyn) Oakman; great-grandchildren, Catlin, Jacob, Nathan, T.J. Oakman, Katlin Mylin Morgan and Anna Grace Morgan; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Moore, Martha Sherad and Kay Mullins; very special people, Ginger Sanders and Katie Jones Taylor; and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by wife, Janell Mullins; parents; brother Bobby Wayne Mullins.

Honorary pallbearers will be Senior Men's Class at West Corinth Baptist Church and morning coffee group at Borroum's.

Family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-8 pm. at West Corinth Baptist Church.

Memorial can be made to Pine Vale Children's Home or Baptist Children Village.
