Bennie Ray Dildy

Funeral Service for Bennie Ray Dildy, 78, is set for 11:00 am Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Frank williams officiating. Burial to follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. A Family and Friends Gathering will be Wednesday from 10:00 am to service time.

Bennie died June 16, 2025 at his residence. He was born April 25, 1947 in Alcorn Co. to the late H B and Atri “Bid” Dildy. He was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed fishing, collecting guns and knives, and watching westerns. He was a “Simple Man” who loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Tommy Dildy and Tony Dildy; infant brother, Jerry Dildy; infant sister, Karen Dildy; daughter-in-law, Laura Dildy; and sister-in-law, Barbara Dildy.

He is survived by his wife, Geniva Darnell Dildy; sons, Adrian Dildy (Linda), Dewayne Dildy (Brandi), David Dildy (Fae); sister, Tammy Barnes (Terry); sister-in-law, Helen Dildy; grandchildren, Amanda Baughman (Blake), Chris Dildy, Aaron Dildy (Lacey), Zach Dildy, Colton Dildy (Trish), August Dildy, and Tiffany Hamlin; seven great grandchildren; and host of other family and friends.
