Brenda Sides

Brenda Sides, age 76, of Golden, Mississippi, entered into her heavenly home on September 10, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center In Tupelo. She was born on October 25, 1948, to the late Junior and Irene Letson. Brenda retired from Golden Manufacturing after 58 years of dedicated service. She was known for her strength, her unwavering love for her family, and the joy she found in her role as “MawMaw.” Her greatest pride was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will forever carry her spirit in their hearts.

Brenda was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 37 years, Roy Sides; her son, Brian Sides; daughter-in-law, Dwana Sides; grandson, Braylon Sides; her sister, Nancy Panter; and brothers, Jimmy Letson, Stevie Letson, Michael Letson, and Ricky Letson.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her daughter, Sandy Rogers (Jesse) of Iuka, MS; her grandchildren, Abby Husband of Jonesboro, AR, Brody Clayton (Katie) of Iuka, MS, Austin Sides of Golden, MS, Chloe Heavener (Lance) of Burnsville, MS, and Breana Miller (Dakota) of Red Bay, AL; her siblings, Patsy Hammock, Davy Letson, Randy Letson, and Keith Letson; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Elle Husband, Marc Husband, Tripp Heavener, and Georgia Lee Miller.

Brenda’s life was a true reflection of love, resilience, and devotion to her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Services will be Saturday September 13th at Antioch Baptist church in Golden, MS. Viewing 3:00-5:30pm and service at 5:30. Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brody Clayton, Austin Sides, Dekota Miller, Jody Orrick, Kelvin Hammock, Brent Letson, Daniel Letson, and Andy Deaton.
