

Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Charles Weeks, Sr. will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, February 2, 2026 at Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
Charles passed away on January 27, 2026 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born on October 24, 1939 to the late C.W. and Vera Weeks. He was a 1958 graduate of Farmington High School. He pursued a career in electronics and was the founder of several companies, including WWTX Radio, Diversified Electronic, Radio Shack, RATEC, Dawn Inc. Eagle One Wireless, and Safespace Storage. He was a pioneer in the field, having started the first FM radio station in Corinth. His contributions to the electronics industry were significant, with several patents to his name. He was known for his passion for teaching and was a mentor to many. Charles was deeply rooted in the Christian faith and cherished time spent outdoors, with a special love for being on the water.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Lydia Weeks and sister, June Pettigrew.
Charles is survived by his wife, Mary Lynn Weeks; sons, Charles Weeks, Jr. (Italia), Alton Weeks (Stephanie) and Wesley Weeks (Laura); stepsons, Brad Coffman and John Coffman (Rhonda); grandchildren, Kelsey Weeks, Lindley Weeks, Brittney Weeks Curry (Jack), Terra Weeks Garrett (Cody), Matthew Weeks, Carson Weeks, Liam Weeks, and Rylee Weeks; great grandchildren, Grayson Garrett, Gunner Garrett, Joshua Favela, and Gemma Curry; and sisters, Ruth Cook (Howard) and Rachael Goddard (Glen).
