Celebration of Life Service for Daniel “Dee’ Dexter, 90, is set for 3:00 pm Thursday at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors with Ron Choate officiating. Burial will be in the Henry Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 to service time.
Dee died May 29, 2022 at Cornerstone Health and Rehab. He was born May 6, 1932 to the late Dewitt and Ina Dexter. He was a member of East Corinth Church of Christ, a farmer and a carpenter. He enjoyed working outdoors and was a master gardener.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Garfield and Earl Dexter; and sisters, Eleanor Johnson, Mary Dexter, and Grace Brawner.
He is survived by his sister, Dorothy Lucas; and nephews and nieces, Jimmy Brawner, Selena Doggett, Ken Lucas, Glenda Marsh, Gayle Carter, and Carlton Johnson.
