Dorothy Mae McCluskey

Funeral Service for Dorothy Gray McCluskey, 97, is set for 1:00 pm Monday at McPeters Inc Funeral Directors. Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday from 12:00 to service time.

Dorothy died May 29, 2028 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born May 13, 1928 in Alcorn Co. MS to the late Noel Herbert Gray and Evelyn Ruth Cotner Gray. She was member of a non-denominational church. Dorothy retired from the Daily Corinthian.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Willie James “Shorty” McCluskey; parents; brothers, Junior, Gerald and Jerry Gray; and sisters, Marie Waldrop and Mary Alice Eygabroad.

She is survived by daughters, Linda McCluskey and Pat Porter (Billy); grandchildren, Eric Smith, Joshua Porter (Alice) Jacob Porter (Kathryn); great grandchildren, Britton Berry, Makenzie, Camryn, Levi, Annie Lou, and Rose Porter; brother, Larry Gray; sister, Martha Albright; sister-in-law, Judy McPeters; and host of other family.
