Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home.
Gene died on March 3, 2017 at Hardin County Health Center in Savannah. He was born in Savannah on January 4, 1989. He attended Hardin County High School and had previously worked at Caterpillar as a licensed lift operator.
Gene was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gene and Mary King, J.W. Gambill, and Martha Sask; and a half-sister, Denise Littlejohn.
He is survived by his parents, Eugene and Beth King; children, Jace Austin, Levi, and Reagan; sisters, Lisa Bell (Tim), Sharon Lancaster (Michael), Mary Ann Willis; and a half-brother, Allen Tate.
Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
