Papa, I still cannot wrap my heart and mind around the fact that you are no longer here. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you. I will forever cherish the time we spent together in your final hours on earth. Life without you just isn't the same. Your memory lives on in my heart. I love you and miss more then words can express. Rest in peace my sweet papa.

Jack was a wonderful father-in-law. He and Elise always made me feel part of the family and treated me with love and respect.  He and his father, Edd, got me hooked on Genealogy, and I really enjoyed researching the Roberts/Owens line and telling him what I found.  He would get a kick out of some of the information and I can still hear his laugh.  He would call me about his computer/email issues and I would walk him through to get him up and running so he could email his family and friends back and forth.  We also Skyped a few times especially during the Holidays with the Grandkids.  The fishing trips on the river and Pickwick were fun (but so hot) and I will always treasure the memories.  We love and miss you Jack -- more each day.

Papaw Jack- you were my favorite of all! When nobody else was there u was there right beside me to hold my hand and walk me through the trouble. You were not only my papaw but u were a loving and caring Christian man that everyone looked up to. It's so hard to cooperate without u here. There was never a night u didn't come by my room and tell me goodnight and u loved me. These are precious memories that will never be forgotten. It's going to be hard to walk across the stage this year knowing that u won't be there physically but ik ill be looking down at me and be proud. U was looking forward to seeing me graduate. U always lifted me up when I was down. You will truly be missed my many. I love you papaw. Love, Anna

Jack was as good an uncle as anyone could have. I've enjoyed his company, his kindness, his honesty, his wisdom and so much more over the years. I know he's waiting "on the far side banks of Jordan." May all of those who loved him live their lives in such a way as to see him again.

Uncle Jack you was so much like your brother my father Harry Roberts, I remember a time when my son was small and we was at church, sitting together, my son took your hand sitting there and talking to you like you was his papaw, it took him a while to see you was not, he looked up at you and said your not my papaw.  You was a good uncle, brother and friend to all. You will be missed.

You were always there for your brothers and sisters like a father.  We all looked up to you .  We were raised poor but we had a deep love and respect for each other.  brewster will miss the Sunday calls he got  on his way to church.. I will miss talking to you when I need advice.   I cant believe you are gone.  rest in peace till we meet again.  Love your sister shirley

We enjoyed 34 years of Sunday morning phone calls.  Sunday's will never be the same.  Miss and love you Dad.

He was my last brother out of 4, never forget your family, call them often, tell them you love them , we always told each other , I love you, when we talked, I will miss our calls,  God made the call , and you answered, I loved you and I hope you knew that, you are the only one that called me ,by my name, your sister
