Janice T. Jobe

A Celebration of Life Service for Janice T. Jobe, 85, is set for 3:00 pm Sunday, July 17, 2022 at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors with her nephew, Bro. Ray Trantham officiating. Burial will follow in the Magnolia Gardens. Family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 to service time.

Janice died July 16, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born February 27, 1939 in Prentiss Co. MS to the late Joe and Mary Trantham. She was a member of Salem Christian Church. She graduated from Biggersville High School, then attended Northeast MS Junior College. Janice was a former bookkeeper for Tull Brothers, WADI and WCMA. She enjoyed working in her yard, doing puzzles, playing with her dogs and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Taylor Jobe; and her parents.

She is survived by her son, J J Jobe (Sherry); daughters, Janet Baggett (Tim) and Joan Jobe; brother, Thomas Tranham; grandchildren, T. J. Baggett (Megan), Ryan Jobe (Jessi), Misty Jobe; Kristy Freeman (Kirk) and Kasey Norman (Ricky); three great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
