Jeffrey O. Huff

Funeral service for Jeffrey Owen Huff 77, is set for 11:00 am Monday at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Corinth National Cemetery.

Jeffrey died January 8, 2019 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was a retired Senior Master Sergeant with over 21 years in the United States air Force, where he served as as Aerospace Ground Equipment Technician and as an Aircraft Accessory System Superintend. He was a Vietnam Veteran with overseas service including Guam, Okinawa, Spain and Thailand in support of B-52D heavy bombers. He was awarded 21 medals and citations; among the most prestigious were the Meritorious Service Medal, the Air force Commendation Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters and the Air Force Good Conduct Medal with 6 Oak Leaf Clusters. He graduated form Corinth High School in 1960, two Air Force Technical Schools in IL., the NCO Academy in Shreveport, LA., the Service NCO Academy in Montgomery, AL., and was a graduate and instructor of the HVAC School at Mountain States Technical Institute in Phoenix, AZ., He was also employed at Phoenix Carter-logau Laboratories and as a technical writer for Honeywell for 17 years. He was a member of the Alcorn County Genealogy Society, Sons of Confederate Veterans, The American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Odell Huff and Ila Jeffreys Huff; sister, Madell Jones; infant brother, Max Huff.

He is survived by his daughter, Ana Margarita Huff of Palma De Majorea, Canary Islands; a son, Jeffrey Manuel Huff of Puerto De Santa Marie, Spain; brother, Bobby Joe Huff (Mary Lee) of Surprise, AZ.; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and special friends which he adored and tried to be an influence in their lives.

A family and friends gathering for Jeffrey will be held Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McPeters Funeral Directors, 1951 East Third Street, Corinth, Mississippi 38834.
