

Funeral service for Jimmy Wayne Yarber, 64, are set for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Memorial Funeral home Chapel with Bro. Bill Wages, Bro. Scotty Wood officiating and Holly Y. Dotson doing the eulogy. Burial with military honors will be in the Forrest Memorial Park.
Mr. Yarber died May 26, 2011 at University of Alabama Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. He was born May 2, 1947 in Corinth, MS to Arlin and the late Emma Jean Yarber. During his life, he was a journey wireman for IBEW LU 852 since 1967, a foreman electrician for TVA for many years, served with the 101st Airborne in U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was of the Baptist faith. For relaxation, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his Harley. He was an adoring husband, father, grandfather, son and brother.
Preceded in death by his mother Emma Jean Yarber, grandmother Gertha Yarber.
Survived by his wife of 41 years, Connie Kuykendall Yarber; his father, Arlin Yarber both of Corinth, MS.; one son Chris Yarber his wife Katie of Guys, TN; one daughter Holly Dotson her husband Gent of Florence, AL; one brother, Jerry Yarber his wife Barbara of Corinth, MS; one sister, Sandy Egger her husband Jim of McAllen, TX; two grandchildren Grace and Noah Dotson; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Billy Ashcraft, Ronie Moore, Curtis Oliver, Tommy Woods, Jim Sullivan, James Hendrix, Wayne Andrews, Ricky Dale Robinson will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be members of the IBWE LU 852.
