

Luke Doehner, 70, died on January 20, 2024 at his residence. He was born on January 28, 1953 in Syracuse, New York to the late Robert and Mary Ellen Doehner. As a child, his family moved to Pittsburgh where he spent most of his adult life. After high school he graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in Criminology and the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Computer Science and Criminal Research. He also graduated from the Culinary Institute in Hyde Park, New York and Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in Paris.
Luke worked for the Marriott Corporation as a chef before moving to Corinth. He and his wife owned and operated the General's Quarters Bed and Breakfast in downtown Corinth for over 30 years. With his love for animals, they operated the Alcorn Animal Shelter for over 12 years. He was involved in the community, serving as a member of the Tourism Committee for 15 years and the Historic Preservation Society for 5 years. Luke was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan, and even cooked breakfast for a Super Bowl team.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Doehner.
Luke is survived by his wife of 30 years, Charlotte Doehner; step-children, Lisa Lisko (Rick), Karen Burke (Eddie) and William Brandt, Jr.; step-grandson, Timothy Burke; brother, Robert Doehner, Jr. (Alyce) of New Jersey; sister, Ann Kraft (Denny) of San Diego, California; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
