Madean Lela Lambert

Funeral Services for Madean Lela Lambert, 92, will be 2pm Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Oaks Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1pm until service time at the funeral home.

Madean passed away on January 5, 2026 at home. She was born on October 11, 1933 to the late Elbert and Exie Lambert. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Madean began her career at AT&T and later spent many years in the dietary departments of several hospitals. Above all else, Madean cherished time spent with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Vernell York, Mildred Marsh, and Ilene Lambert.

Madean is survived by her daughters, Debra Talley, Tammy Swatzyna, Kim Smith, and Stacey Smith; grandchildren, Kelly Cooley, Ashley Flashner, Laura Sours, Marc Talley, and Tara Swatzyna; great grandchildren, Taylor Swatzyna, Hunter Talley, Nori Ammer, Maddie Talley, Landon Flashner, Mia Swatzyna, Titus Talley, and Alexandra Flasher; sister, Dorothy Faye Settlemires and brother, CB Lambert.
