Marjorie E. Cook

Ms. Cook died Thursday September 11, 2014 at Dogwood Plantation. She was born September 6, 1928 in Alcorn Co. to the late Herman Barker and Ota Leggett Barker. She was a member of New Hope Presbyterian Church, retired school teacher after 32 years having, taught at Kossuth, Gift and Biggersville. She received two masters from Ole Miss in Reading and Special Education. Marjorie enjoyed dancing, traveling and spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Survived by her son Richard (Miranda) Cook, Sister Bobbie (Everett) Parvin , granddaughter Amanda (Michael) Walker, great grandchildren Brandon and Brittany Rinehart, host of other family and friends.

Family will receive friends Saturday from 5 to 8 and Sunday from 1 to service time
