Mrs. Hammock died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, at her home. Born Aug. 30, 1924, she was a retired sales associate for Preston-Stafford. She was a member of Kendrick Church of Christ and formerly ran Bingham’s Grocery Store.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ottie Hammock, whom she married Nov. 14, 1942, in Iuka; her parents, Leon and Virgie Bingham; and a brother, Paul Bingham.
Survivors include a son, Ronnie Hammock (Brenda) of Corinth; a daughter, Lisa Sutton of Corinth; three sisters, Carolyn Strickland of Corinth, Barbara Fowler of Mobile, Ala., and Janice Gray of Corinth; four grandchildren, Ronda Crotts (Brad), Jay Hammock (Leigh Ann), Josh Hammock (Lori) and Tyler Sutton; and four great-grandchildren, Jadyn Crotts, McKinley Hammock, Janna Kate Hammock and Christina Maryann Hammock.
Ministers Charles Curtis, G.W. Childs and Harold Gray will officiate the service.
