Maxine Fern Brose

Maxine died February 11, 2018 at her home. She was born January 14, 1938 in Breathitt Co. KY., to the late Sam and Mary Raleigh. She was a member of Foote Street Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Lynchburg High School and Wilmington College; she was a retired elementary school teacher. Maxine and her family moved to Corinth in 1987 to open Brose Autoplex, were she was co-owner with her husband Marvin. She enjoyed fishing, collecting antiques, traveling and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Vernon Raleigh; sisters, Pauline Musekamp, Imogene Barker, Cathleen Rose.

She is survived by her husband, of 61 years Marvin Brose; sons, Greg (Peggy) Brose, Grant (Melanie) Brose; sister, Betty (Gary) Smith of Lynchburg, OH.; grandchildren, Michael (Laura) Brose, Gregory (Betsy) Brose, Eric Brose, Graham Brose; great grandchildren, Taylor, Tyler, Alice, Adeline, Henrik, Hazel, Kaia, Lily, Breanna, Dylan; brother-in-law, Luther Spears of Madison, Al.
