Michael “Mike” David King died May 2, 2026 at his residence. He was born September 3, 1957 in St. Louis, MO to the late R.C. and Betty Cather King. Mike was a 1977 graduate of Alcorn Central High School. He worked as an auto body repairman and at Pioneer Machinery.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Brenda Moses and Carolyn Meeks.
He is survived by his son, Michael King, Jr. (Shina); daughter, Angel Gillmore (Stuart); brothers, Jeff King (Carla) and Larry King (Betty); sister, Darlene Watkins; grandchildren, Nate, Nathaniel, Kaden, Dakota King, Leon Elijah, Selena, Adelynn Gillmore; and a host of other family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
