Mike died November 17, 2023 at his residence. He was born October 19, 1953 in Lansing, MI. to the late Ben and Jean Schafer. He was a painter and sheetrock finisher in Corinth for many years. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and playing basketball.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Natalie Schafer; his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Perkins Schafer; grandson, Parker Stacy; brothers, Doug Schafer (Karla), Mark Schafer (Sharry), Kevin Schafer, Bernie Schafer; sister; Pam Brown (Bob) and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
