Services will be at McPeters Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 4:00 P.M. Officiating the service will Rev. Joe Carpenter and Rev. Bob Carpenter. Burial will follow in the Campground Cemetery, Tippah County, MS. Visitation will be prior to service on Wednesday, 2:00 P.M. until service time.
Mr. McKinney is a native of Tennessee. He received a Master Degree from Mississippi Southern following serving in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He served as a pilot on more than 50 missions. He is a
retired farmer and cattleman.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Beulah McKinney and one brother, Fred McKinney.
Survivors include his wife, Genette Carpenter McKinney of Walnut, MS and one sister, Irene Dale of Hattiesburg,
MS.
