Rita dedicated many years of her life to working in fabric manufacturing, Outside of her career, she found great joy in creative pursuits. She loved to sew, draw, and sketch, expressing her artistic spirit in everything she created. As a Christian, Rita’s faith was an important part of her life and guided her values and the way she cared for others.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Rita is survived by her husband, Billy Shepard; daughter, Pamela Forester; brothers, Kenny King, Jerry King, and Timothy King; and sister, Patsy Horner.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
