Cheryl “Sherry” Denise Frazier, age 64, of Corinth, passed away on May 4, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
Sherry was born and raised in Corinth and later made her home in Florence, Alabama, where she lived with her fiancé, Michael Lewis. She was known for her deep compassion and dedication to helping rescue dogs and cats, always opening her heart to animals in need. It was through her love for animals that she met her fiancé, Michael, while trying to rescue a dog—a moment that would lead to a relationship that brought her great happiness.
Sherry worked at First Presbyterian Day School, where she was adored by her students. She had a special way of connecting with children; her kindness and warmth left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
She had a love for music and expressed herself through her own unique sense of style. She was fashionable in a way that was entirely her own, and that individuality was part of what made her so special. Above all, she loved her family dearly. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she took great pride in each of them.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Buddie and Kathryn Frazier; and her sister, Jeri Seiler.
She is survived by her loving children, Kayla Clifton (Dustin), Mia Sweat (Thomas), and Ian Manus; her fiancé, Michael Lewis, who brought her great happiness; her cherished grandchildren, Willow Hatcher, Rubie Clifton, Greyson Clifton, Rowyn Clifton and Violet Crotts; and her beloved dogs, Piper, Sally, and Petie, who brought her constant joy and companionship.
Sherry will be remembered for her kind heart, her love of animals, her strength, and the deep love she had for her family. She leaves behind many who will miss her dearly and carry her memory with them always.
A Celebration of Sherry's life will be held at 2pm on May 9th, 2026 at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Henry Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11am until service time at the funeral home.
