Alexander John Lauzon

LAUZON, Alexander – A devoted and loving husband and father, a hard working farmer and a loyal and joyful friend to all. Alexander John Lauzon, resident of Apple Hill for the past 52 years, passed away at St. Joseph’s Villa on Friday, December 5, 2014 at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of Agatha (Wattie) Lauzon, his sweetheart for over 63 years. Cherished father of David (Diane), Bruce (Rebecca), Paul (Sue), Glenn (Cathy), Daniel (Mary), Robert, Diana Murray (Dwight), Anne Rogers (Dwaine), Christine Marleau, Nancy Marleau (Vincent), Sandra Cholette (Michel) and Karen Lauzon. Much loved Grampa of 29 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Alexander was predeceased by his parents Fred and Maggie (Atchison) Lauzon and by his siblings Fred Jr., Eva Wattie and Jean MacGillivary. Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613.932.8482) from 2 pm Wednesday. Funeral on Thursday, December 11, 2014 for Mass of Christian Burial at St.Anthony’s Church in Apple Hill at 11:30 am. The family will be in attendance from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 pm on Wednesday and from 9 am until time of Funeral on Thursday. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the St. Joseph’s Villa or to Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
