He leaves behind his loving wife, Ghislaine (née Carriere) Lemire of 67 years; his 3 children Marc (Debbie), Suzanne (Danny) and Luc (Monique); his 7 grandchildren who he loved and supported with all his heart Marc, Matthew, Mandy (Michael), Andrew (Jessica), Blain, Patrick and Jayden. As well as his 14 great-grandchildren who will miss their great-grandpa dearly. Survived by his two brothers Jean-Paul Lemire (Anne) and Gerry Lemire (Darquise) and his sister Paulette O’Reilly (Gene).
Predeceased by his parents Florian and Gratia (née Martel), his brothers Herbie Lemire, Marcell Lemire (Jeanette), Leonard Lemire (Pauline) and his sister Claudette Bresolin (Felice).
In keeping with the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Home, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482). Family will be in attendance at Ste. Thérèse de Lisieux Parish (1304 Lisieux Street, Cornwall, ON) on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 11:00 AM for a Memorial Mass.
