Carol Ann Jerome

Carol Ann Jerome, age 86, of Cornwall, Ontario, passed away on September 2, 2026. Born May 4, 1940, in Cornwall, Ontario, Carol Ann will be remembered with deep respect and lasting gratitude by all who knew her.

Carol Ann was the cherished mother of Shawn Palfrey (Angela Butcher) of Cornwall and the late Shane Palfrey. She was a proud grandmother of Kyle Palfrey (Courtney Robertson) of Cornwall, and a devoted great-grandmother of Peyton, Hunter, and Ciara. Step Grandmother to Sarah Sunday. She was also a loving aunt to Sherry Dupras (Gordon) and Marc Bazinet (Nancy).

Predeceased by her parents, George Jerome and Maude (née Lapierre) Jerome, and by her sister, Marlene Bazinet (late Raymond), Carol Ann carried forward a steadfast devotion to family—marked by strength, constancy, and a passion that showed most clearly in the care she gave and the bonds she held close.

In quieter moments, Carol Ann found comfort and purpose in knitting and sewing—patient, skillful pursuits that reflected her steady hands and thoughtful nature.

Carol Ann Jerome leaves a legacy of enduring family love and a life lived with resolve and devotion.
