Colette was the beloved wife of John Fergus Wrinn, with whom she shared 57 wonderful years of marriage. Loving mother of Kirk Wrinn (Sandra) and proud grandmother of Jacob (Ashlyn), Nicholas, and Caleb, who brought her immense joy and were the light of her life.
Predeceased by her parents, Louis Phillipe Trudel and Albina Georgiana Ainsley, as well as her siblings Raoul (the late Carmen), Robert (the late Yvonne), Annette Labrosse (the late Louis), Lucille Lecours (the late Johnny), Gaston, Alice Nice (the late Fred), Denise Christianson (the late Don), Pierette Martel (the late Flo), and Gerald Tom (Julienne). She will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends, all of whom were touched by her warmth, generosity, and infectious sense of humour.
Colette dedicated more than 40 years of her life to nursing, a profession she embraced with compassion, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to caring for others. For her, nursing was never simply a career; it was a calling. The genuine concern and empathy she showed her patients extended far beyond the hospital walls and became the foundation of how she lived her life. She was always ready with a helping hand, a listening ear, or words of encouragement for anyone in need.
Known for her quick wit and wonderful sense of humour, Colette had a gift for making people feel welcome, comfortable, and cared for. She treasured time with family above all else and took great pride in maintaining close relationships with her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Whether enjoying a family gathering, sharing stories and laughter around the table, golfing with friends, or taking long walks outdoors, she created lasting memories and meaningful connections wherever she went.
Her kindness, compassion, and generous spirit leave a lasting legacy in the lives of those she touched. She will be remembered with love, gratitude, and affection, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
