Dear Cathy Jerry and Monika, our heartfelt condolences with the loss of your daughter and sister Dawn. She was a beautiful person .
She was so full of life , I loved her as a kid when you were visiting us at the farm. And the last 5 years I really got to know her personality and her love for flowers and everyone around her.
We wish you strength and peace during these hard times. Love always Bernie and Trees van der Zweep

Although I hadn't spent a lot of time with Dawn, seeing her occasionally at Conroy family gatherings, she always took the time to sit and chat. Sometimes it would be about her adventures with Denis, or her favorite gelato shop on the west coast, or sometimes stories she would share about her friends in Toronto. One thing was clear - Dawn was a warm, positive, loving person who never seemed to complain. She endured more by the age of 40 than many will in a lifetime.
Dawn and Denis there is no question you both found your soul mate. God Bless you both.

I used to work at the corner store in St. Andrews West. Dawn and Denis used to come in frequently. When I quit smoking a few years ago I told Dawn that I was saving the money I would have spent on cigarettes. She then told me about her illness and she told me to take that money and take a trip. She said to live for today. Thanks to her, I try to do that everyday.
Denis, I am so sorry for your loss. I know how she fought.
