It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Diane Asselin (née Murrell) at Southbridge Longterm Care Home on Friday September 18, 2026, at the age of age of 80.

Diane is survived by her siblings Rosemary Campeau (Serge), Peter Murrell, Gloria Contlin, Harvey Murrell, Brian Murrell (Mary) and Dale Murrell; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her former husband Robert Asselin; her parents Henry Murrell and Olive Struthers; and her siblings Peter Murrell, Robert Murrell (late Florence), Patricia Wallis (William) and Sheila Murrell.

In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place.

Arrangements under the care and direction of LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN WEST BRANCH 20 SEVENTH STREET W, CORNWALL ON (613-932-8482).

A committal service will be held on Friday October 9, 2026, at 11:00AM at St. Williams Cemetery in Martintown, ON.
