ROY, Doreen (Duffy) - At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Tuesday July 2, 2013. She was 80. She leaves her loving husband of almost 60 years, Gerald Roy. Dear mother of Norman (Joanne), Wayne (Robin), Gary (Jaymes), Shelley, and Steven (Karen). Sadly missed by 12 grandchildren, Mackz, Scott, Robert, Christopher, Alysia, Julia, Cody, Arron, Madeleine, Mitchell, Samuel and Kieran and 2 great grandchildren, Teagan and Emaly. Also survived by one brother, Terrence “Terry” (Monique) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents James and Irene (Deschamps) Duffy, one brother Morris (late Millie Dore) and one sister Pauline Tommasino (Normand). Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Friday from 2-4 & 7 – 9pm and on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 am.
Funeral Mass on Saturday July 6, 2013 at 11 am at Blessed Sacrament Church followed by cremation. Rite of Committal, Notre Dame Cemetery at a later date.
