MALETTE, Doris Kathleen (Hume) – At the Cornwall Community Hospital surrounded by her children and sister, on Sunday April 13, 2014. She was 84. Beloved wife of the late Patrick Malette. Dear mother of Kirk Malette (Gail), Patricia Ryan, Marc Malette (Julie), James Malette (June), Carol Stewart (Allan), Daryl Malette (Carmen), Daryleen McDonald (Dan), Dawn Jodoin, Janice Malette (David), April Roy (Yves) and Jay Malette (Claudette). Also survived by 23 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Survived by one sister, Jean Turner (late Jim). Predeceased by her parents, James and Cassie (Cameron) Hume and 2 brothers, John and Bud Hume and one infant son, Patrick. Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Wednesday from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm and on Thursday from 9:30 – 10:30am. Funeral Thursday April 17, 2014 in the chapel of the funeral home at 11am. Committal, Finch Community Cemetery, at a later date. Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society appreciated.
