Fier arrière-grand-père d'Arjen, Jannik, Fiona, Leo, Florence, Sammy, Layla, Nora, Corey et Knox. Cher frère de Régina Bourdeau (feu Rhéo), Cécile St-Pierre (Ovide), Thérèse Legault (Claude) et André Bisson. Il manquera beaucoup à ses nombreuses nièces, neveux, beaux-frères, belles-sœurs, sa famille élargie et ses amis.

Prédécédé par ses parents Gonzague et Flore (née Goulet) Bisson, son petit-fils Joel et ses frères et sœurs Yvonne Bourdeau (Fernand), Rita Arsenault (Paul), Marie Matte (Richard), Richard Bisson et René Bisson.

La famille sera présente à LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN WEST BRANCH, 20 SEVENTH STREET WEST, CORNWALL, le jeudi 12 mars 2026, à partir de 9 h, jusqu'à la cérémonie commémorative qui aura lieu dans la chapelle funéraire à 12 h.

It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Ernest Bisson at the Cornwall Community Hospital, on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the age of 94 years.

Beloved husband of Thérèse (née Racine) Bisson for over 71 years.

Loving father of Reynald Bisson, Gilles Bisson (Kathy), René Bisson (Roxanne), Gaetan Bisson (Line), Claudette Bisson (Tom), Lynne Tookey and Chantal Littlejohn (Gunnar). Treasured grandfather of Michael (Christine), Matthew (Isaac), Stephanie (Bradley), Christian (Stephanie), Patrick, Alain (Miryam), Stephane, Tyler, Nicolas (Julie), Robert, Samuel and Sofia. Proud great-grandfather of Arjen, Jannik, Fiona, Leo, Florence, Sammy, Layla, Nora, Corey and Knox. Dear brother of Régina Bourdeau (late Rhéo), Cécile St-Pierre (Ovide), Thérèse Legault (Claude) and André Bisson. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by his parents Gonzague and Flore (née Goulet) Bisson, his grandson Joel and his siblings Yvonne Bourdeau (Fernand), Rita Arsenault (Paul), Marie Matte (Richard), Richard Bisson and René Bisson.

Family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN WEST BRANCH, 20 SEVENTH STREET WEST, CORNWALL on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 9:00AM until a Memorial Service in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 12:00PM.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Cornwall would be greatly appreciated by the family.
